TONY PHAM

OWNER & HEAD GARDENER

I’m a lifelong gardener, trained at Longwood Gardens in landscape design.  I have studied many different garden styles, including:

  • Japanese (tea, strolling, and zen) garden
  • English formal and country gardens
  • Native and rain gardens

I design, install, and maintain gardens throughout Delaware, Pennsylvania, and New Jersey.  I’ve developed expert knowledge on the soils of the region and the plants that thrive in them. I look forward to helping you grow your own perfect garden.

MAGGIE FLANAGAN

HEAD DESIGNER

Maggie’s involvement in horticulture and sustainability started 10 years ago as a project management leader in the non-profit sector. She collaborated with Philadelphia Parks and Recreation Department, the School District of Philadelphia, and local community groups to take on challenges such as transforming vacant lots, neglected parks, and underutilized outdoor spaces into visually beautiful and ecologically beneficial outdoor greenspaces. Maggie’s strong suit is using her design skills to make dreams become reality to create a customized space the community can enjoy and take ownership in.

In early 2017, Maggie began working as a designer and project manager for a design/build firm located in Delaware County to pursue her passion for ecological landscape design, sustainability, and horticulture. Maggie has an extensive background of native plants, creating beneficial pollinator gardens, hardscaping, rain gardens, storm water management, and creating outdoor rooms. Merging those experiences with her education earned from certificate of merit programs in landscape design and ornamental horticulture from Longwood Gardens along with an ecological gardening certificate from Mt. Cuba Center. Today, Maggie continues to design residential landscape master plans in detailed CAD drawings and 3D renderings. She translates her clients’ wish list by aligning their vision and her knowledge of sustainable best practices to produce beautiful, unique, and functional outdoor living. She is actively engaged in her neighborhood civic associations, zoning board, and community garden.

MIKE KLEIN

OPERATIONS MANAGER

I’ve had a love for sustainable gardening my entire adult life. I believe that traditional landscaping methods have gotten out of hand, and that many times they do more harm to the landscape than good. We are here to change that. I am a graduate of The University of Delaware, training in the Certificate of Merit in Ornamental Horticulture program from Longwood Gardens.

I have experience in many aspects of horticulture including sustainable and naturalistic gardening, native garden design, and stormwater management projects. When I’m not gardening for clients, I spend quite a bit of time outdoors with my wife, son, and two dogs. I am Blue Card certified in the State of Delaware.

BEN MERRITT

HEAD STONE MASON

I’m drawn to Stone Masonry by the permanence it offers. The feeling of being connected to the past while building for the future is always present in my work. While my foundation lies in brickwork and general masonry restoration, natural stone is my choice media. Whether restoring brick walkways or rebuilding hundred year old dry stack stone walls, quality and integrity are always top priority in my work. I look forward to working with you to create a stunning visual display, that will provide function for years to come.

We have the knowledge and experience to create the garden of your dreams.
